So here it goes....

These tubes you see are made of glass and are again from IKEA!!! They are part of a lantern called Damast and sell for C$20, well here in Canada anyways!!!! The glass tube is 14" tall and has a diameter of 5.75" and will fit most 1/6 figures. It is rather tight fit. Since Ikea is pretty much everywhere now and anyone can get hold on these cheap ;) so hopefully you can use the idea for some good displays and post some pictures :D

    So is it the big DAMAST (17 ¾")? Also, where did you get these little lights on top of the glass?

    Yes it's the big Damast but the tube height is only 14". The lights are Ikea as well the round white Dioder. Was thinking of picking up the multicolor ones but it's just not bright enough
